Questions to Get You Started
FYI – I’m curious how you’re feeling right now. What are you thinking? What are your expectations? Why are any of these things meaningful to you? Would you like to work with a few free resources? Perhaps what you really need is to slow down a little, unwind, and decompress. You’ll be happy that you did. – Richard W. Anton, M.A., B.A., Dip Ed.

Two can create what one cannot—coaching by telephone or zoom. Your virtual online session or in-person session will assist you in moving in some way towards the incredible life that you want and dream about. I’m here for you. We also offer evening sessions.
If you reside in Alberta, my services are covered by most health insurance plans. However, since this is a virtual service, I can speak with you as a life coach wherever you are, as long as you speak English.

Perfect Timing
Perhaps the best, most fruitful therapeutic dialogues take place when you’re having a great day. Although you were motivated to make an appointment due to upsetting circumstances, when you arrive at your appointment you realize that you’ve been having a great few days. Don’t dismay, because now is the perfect time for a therapeutic dialogue.

During your therapeutic dialogue with your psychologist, you will be creating and strengthening positive associations between memories of recent situations. You will also be defining how you want to feel about recent circumstances and if you believe further action is required in order for you to feel that the situation is comfortably resolved.
Therapeutic Dialogue
Talking through a problematic situation and rehashing old negative associations is not nearly as beneficial as a therapeutic dialogue in which you create new, strong, healthy associations, defining how you want to feel, and comfortably resolving the situation within a safe, confidential, and trusting relationship. It is common to live life on the outside, but we feel on the inside. Take care of how you feel, and the thoughts and beliefs that create those feelings.
BOOK your Virtual session – ZOOM or telephone!
A virtual session with Amrit Kaur, Tracy Firth, or Richard Anton may help you. You may utilize sports metaphors where you work, so consider them carefully. Think of basketball, football, and hockey. “Putting points on the board” is what the game is all about. The team with the most points on the board by the end of the game wins, and so must you in order to FEEL strong and win your specific game. Richard Anton Counseling
Is Virtual Psyc the Right Fit?
I’ve been working in counseling & coaching since the 1990s, but my views are not from the 1990s. Amidst rapid change, psychologists & their clients need honest and unbiased guidance to make the best decisions for their lives and careers. I hope to offer you a signal amidst the noise.

Watch the following video clip. It’s free. In it, I will walk you through a potentially valuable journaling exercise.
Consider & Write about these questions in your journal: What are a few of the ways in which journaling can improve my life? How will journaling by answering certain questions about my beliefs and expectations reduce my stress levels? When exactly will journaling about the gap between my present life conditions and my goals and dreams improve my life experience and allow me to feel more engaged in life? How will answering questions about “what’s most meaningful to me” cause me to feel empowered? Finally, I want to feel more emotionally settled and think more clearly, and journaling will help with this, by organizing my thoughts and emotions?
